A Trip To ARAI Waterfalls

ARAI WATER POOL

Arai is the small village located in Chittoor district. From Chittoor it is about 100km where as from Kalahasti it is about only 30km we went from Kalahasti to Arai through pichattur road. It is famous for water pool and also for trek. As an when you enter the village the waterfall road cut through the village we need to go inside the village about 3-4km that’s the last stop when you are traveling by your own vehicles. You can also travel by bus local buses are available from kalahasthi.

Parking at Arai :

You can park your vehicle at the parking place so that you need not worry about your vehicle and valuable things inside your vehicle. The local villagers are maintained by these parking facilities here are the parking charges:

Arai waterfall permission:

Legally you need to register your names in the local police station beacause it’s not well known place  beacause did  anything happen to you incase of any emergency or any medical issues they need know your personal identification. 

Important things when your traveling for the first time:

• When your traveling for the first time it’s better to have a person who already went or known about that place if not you can take local person with you, he is little bit expensive when we travelled he wouldn’t get below 1000 rs. when you travel on weekends there is no need to guide to trek we can see many tourists around there so we can follow the line through them. As when you travel on weekdays my suggestion is to take local people with you. 
• There is no food items available around there please carry enough amount of items with you. The only thing available there is water, the water in that area is sweetest and also flowing water is good for health as it contains many minerals it is far away better than our drinking water.
• Trekking is about 6-7 km as it is an wet and hilly area put on trekking shoes it’s an important thing ,when you put on slippers or any other type of shoes as it is wet and slippery you may tend to create problems.
• When you are traveling with girls I recommend unless you are 3-4 guys in a group  on weekdays. On weekends there is no such problems.

Arai waterpool experience:

As I said we need travel about 7 km to reach top of the hill,this hill has got almost 7 waterfalls we went up to 3 waterfall after that remaining 4 also almost similar to these waterfalls so maximum tourist visit up to only 3 water pools it’s long way trek it’s about 4km to reach to the first pool another option will be also available when we came, up to about 3km tractor of the local people traveling the tourist they charged 1500rs to 3 km as it was hilly areas no other vehicles can go there as it was tractor they carried 15-20 people in that tractor truck. 

Our trek was quite fabulous by talking each other  jokes chit chatting guessing the height of the hill guessing the time to reach to the pool singing songs taking pictures. When we started to trek almost after 2km we thought that we couldn’t make it out as when we going up no pain has stopped ous  from getting back. When you trek with your friends you can walk all day along without any pains and it’s for sure. There will be getting packs of engery when we travel with our close ones. As when we reach to the first pool the way we walked along disappears when we see the pool the only thing will be appearing in the mind that need to get the things off and dive into the pool any way there would be one person in each group who doesn’t know to swim he will be useful to take pictures and videos of our enjoyment.

FIRST WATER POOL

We spent about 1hr in the first pool the water and the climate over there stopped ous from moving from the pool soon after the first pool here is the real adventure of climbing 10 feet hill next to first pool. People help each other by lending hands to each other.

After the adventurous the distance has increased walking has increased sweating has increased. From first pool it took about 20 min to reach second pool the second pool is best for enjoying the non swimmers it’s the place to enjoy again we spent about half an hour in second pool.

SECOND WATERPOOL

After the second waterfall most of the tourist return I recommend you to visit 3 pool it is the pool you must need to see. After  the second pool the way to third pool is  very adventurous it’s like climbing Little Rock’s the way from second to third pool where our energy boosters have been lost and we are in a mood like loosing energy it’s only about 10-15 min to reach the third pool. The third pool is only meant to be only for swimmers because it’s the pool depth about 50 feet if you know swimming this pool is meant for you and also it’s the place for diving too.

THIRD WATERPOOL

 It's been a wonderfull experience and if you need to stay over there make necessary arrangements like tent food&beverages to arrange before the light becomes darker in order to stay at night you need to inform to the local police station earlier.
